Firstly I would love to welcome you to The Book Forage! I'm so happy you're here!

I'm honored to be a stay at home mom and wife. We have 4 children that we've homeschooled for the past 10 years and are presently educating them at home. Homeschooling hasn't always been easy but we have found our way and its been worth it. We've always homeschooled using living and rich books; from the early years of Five in a Row, Ambleside, Unit Studies, and endless book lists we've sourced online. Our home library is bursting, quite literally, with both living books and twaddle.

We are a homestead family with a love for nature, animals and home preserving. We grow and produce as much of our own food as possible. My garden often becomes a priority during the summer months with food preservation in fall. In the past several years I've delved into food foraging and tea making. My husband and I often end our day with a nice rose hip and nettle tea.
